The Hitchin triathlon is set in the small market town of Hitchin, Hertfordshire. With two distances and a children’s event available to enter
- Sprint distance: 400m outdoor pool, 24km bike and 5km run
- Nitro distance: 200m outdoor pool, 12km bike and 2.5km run
- Kids triathlon
The courses below are for the full sprint with the Nitro being part around a shorter part of the full course
It’s a great event for beginners or more seasoned triathletes. The swim is in the olympic sized outdoor pool, before a cycle takes you out in to the local countryside. The final run is around the local park and town centre.
